I m lookkng at installing 1 or two poe cameras with nvr.
Cameras run wires from outside to attic.
You can feed the fish tape up into the hole that you just drilled for your camera.
Once the fish tape extends far enough into the attic for easier access tape the end of the cable to the fish tape and pull on the fish tape from the outside to thread the cable through the hole you drilled.
Put the cable into the guard and attach the guard to the wall inside of your home or trail them to the back of your furniture.
There are typically two ways in which people choose to wire their security camera.
The original plan was to run security camera wires up through soffit into attic down into basement but that no longer is an option.
When you drill a hole to run the ip camera wiring like wiring cameras through the ceiling you can hide the security camera cable with the wire guards.
Power and video wires run up the wall into the attic to the location where the camera will be located and out a small hole in the soffit were the camera will be mounted.
The first is running the wires through the attic and attaching the camera to the soffit.
This job is a whole lot easier with a friend helping you.
If you re forced to run wires outside of the soffit make sure you hide cam cables and your camera in the best places to hide the camera.
Is it pretty easy to run the wire by drilling a hole in soffit and it hopefully comes out in the attic and then run it through down the wall or even keep the nvr in attic and somehow give it power.
There are plenty of ideas when it comes to installing the security camera wires through your attic and you may choose the one that works the best for you.
The second is running the wires through an exterior wall and attaching the cameras via a conduit.
Before buying the gear i want to make sure that illl be able to do it.
Another option is to run your cable through an exterior wall and then use conduit on the exterior of your structure to run your cables from one camera to another.
