I used cotton quilting fabric to bind the quilt but you can also you double gauze to bind the quilt as well. The end result will be worth it but expect this fabric to flow and move in ways your regular quilting cotton doesn t. It will be easier to work with unwashed. If you are going to use double gauze as the binding use spray starch to help keep the binding in shape.
