Another short video this time on how to spray wooden blinds and transform the look of your home at a very cheap price.

For extra depth try lightly sponge painting them with wall paint. Sit the blinds on two saw horses outside. It did a beautiful job of changing white blinds to pale gold or honey color. The spray paint also made the strings stiff so that does affect the how easily the blinds raises and lowers.

Step 5 leave the paint to dry completely overnight. However the blinds took on a little puckered look in spots. Whether vinyl or fabric vertical blinds can be transformed with a coat of paint. And then spray until the brown is gone.

You will need 2 or 3 coats because fabric absorbs the paint very quickly and it will dry lighter than the color you paint. Start painting the blinds by spraying the paint in even coats using an up or down motion and continuing in the same direction all throughout the whole blind surface. Spray in the yard as you will mow away the paint that gets sprayed on the grass cool eh and super easy. I let it dried a bit before closing the blinds and spraypainting again.

It will probably require more coats though. I was very pleased with the paint itself. Use what you have on hand. Please look at my other video on how.

Well i spray painted the vertical blinds. The best methods for painting vertical blinds are using spray paint on them or stenciling them to create an interesting design. Instead of running out and buying a new color you can paint them instead. Start by getting your blinds ready for painting and then move on to painting.

You just need to hang the blinds in a way to be able to open and close the blinds. In the next picture the left side has 2 coats and the right side only one. I used two trestles and some leftover wood. If the fabric is scuffed up and fluffy look for a water based acrylic fabric spray paint and wet the fabric down first to flatten it.

Yes you can cover up a dark color with a light one or vice versa.
